Forestry Freshmen Tour Sandy Mush Game Land

The Wildlife/Environmental Studies class (1st year forestry students) recently took a field trip to Sandy Mush Game Land to discuss early successional habitat management for wildlife. The students were able to experience and learn about mourning dove management, native grassland restoration and management, and shortleaf pine-bluestem community restoration and enhancement. We want to thank Chris Henline and the NC Wildlife Resources Commission for hosting us!
