4th Annual Wild Game Dinner a huge success!!

The 4th Annual Wild Game Dinner at Haywood Community College was a huge success!!! The HCC student chapter of The Wildlife Society (a.k.a. Wildlife Club students) set the bar high for future student chapter members. There was plenty of delicious wild game to choose from and no one had an excuse to leave hungry. The live entertainment was awesome and continuous throughout the night. Everyone in attendance was impressed with the many donations, especially the silent auction items this year. This great event is growing, and we are thankful!

The students were able to raise $6,200 for future student chapter projects, educational trips, and the wildlife student scholarship, thanks to our many sponsors and those who attended! The advisors and students set a goal this year to raise over $5,000, so we were thrilled with the final tally. Thank you for attending and making the student chapter members’ exhaustive efforts well worthwhile! If you didn’t get a chance to attend, don’t miss next year’s 5th Annual Wild Game Dinner, which is set for Friday, March 4. For a list of this year’s sponsors or plans for next year’s dinner, please request that from Chris Graves via e-mail:
