Shook House Service Project

Members of the HCC horticulture club recently worked on landscape improvements at the Shook House in Clyde. This structure is the oldest home in Haywood County and has been placed on the National Historical Registry for its importance and history within the community. Students planted, pruned, mulched and transplanted. Most of the landscaping over the years has been accomplished by student participation either through lab work or club activity.
