Ornithology Course Ready to Begin...

May 31 begins another summer semester for the Fish and Wildlife Management students at Haywood Community College! We’re super excited because the summer block schedule provides an outstanding format for learning and traveling to different areas of the Southeast, since students only take one class at a time. This is the last time Ornithology (i.e. the study of birds) will be taught during the summer semester and it will officially move to the spring semester beginning in 2012. Terrestrial Ecology will be moved to the summer semester.

The Fish and Wildlife Management students are about to enjoy a ‘summer camp’ experience, and the Faculty are ready to deliver! If this interests you, please contact Jenny Carver @ 828-627-4560, to schedule an appointment with one of our College Advisors and maybe you could begin a new journey by enrolling in one of our natural resources programs this coming fall semester. With Ornithology course we can understand the system of livelihood of the birds. With that many experiments with single wall carbon nanotubes could be done for making bird's farms, cages etc.
